UMIF MEDICAL STAFF – INFOCA PLAN

The Medical Units for Forest Fires (#UMIF) are activated to attend to the needs of our personnel when they are working in emergencies.

These units are made up of healthcare personnel equipped with all the necessary equipment for initial emergency care. The Medical Units for Forest Fires are an integrated healthcare service within the operational system that guarantees medical assistance for personnel during firefighting tasks.

These units include:

• A doctor

• A nurse

However, the number of personnel required will depend on the requirements and needs of each forest fire.

The SEMESUR personnel participating in the INFOCA Plan are located at the Advanced Command Post, which moves to the closest strategic areas. In this way, the UMIF can provide healthcare services in the most important areas or relocate if necessary.
